We’ve had date filters on system metadata (created, executed, expiring, updated dates), and custom metadata for a while now. Most of you know that the options to pick dates were limited (Today, last x days, next y days, custom). This posed a challenge, especially because of constraints like “no last x days for Date Expiring”, etc. This also reduced the effectiveness of recurring reports.

We’ve finally gone ahead and updated the date filters to make them more powerful. Now, under “Enter Custom Date”, you will see the following options:

  1. Between two dates
  2. On a specific date
  3. On or before a specific date (one sided open interval)
  4. On or after a specific date (one sided open interval)
  5. In the last x days/weeks/months/years (x can be anything)
  6. In the next x days/weeks/months/years (x can be anything)

These options are available for the “Dates” filter facets, and all “Contract Metadata” facets of the “Date” type.

This adds an enormous amount of flexibility while searching for the right contracts, and also helps users create more powerful views.

How to Enable:This is available for all workspaces.
