The Problem We're Solving

Legal teams are resource-constrained and need to focus their attention where it matters most. Our customers wanted to:

• Target Legal reviews/approvals ONLY for specific scenarios (like high-value redlined contracts)
• Apply different approval requirements for "Upload for Review" vs. "Upload for Signature" workflows
• Set unique approval flows for different contract types (MSAs, NDAs, Orders) within the same TPP workflow.

Without these capabilities, teams had to over-review contracts, wasting valuable time.

What's New: Supercharged Conditional Approvals

We've added two powerful new condition types to Approvals V5:

Workflow Type Conditions

• Set specific approval requirements based on whether a contract follows an Upload for Review or Upload for Signature workflow
• Configure approval rules that require Legal sign-off ONLY when templates are both redlined AND exceed $50,000 in value

Contract Type Conditions (only for TPP workflows)

• Configure approvals based on specific contract types within a Third-Party Paper workflow
• Ex - Target approvals for just for MSAs (if there is a single TPP Workflow linked to all contract types)
