Have you ever created the same approval condition multiple times for a customer? Or spent hours updating a single condition (like "Deal Value > $1M") in 20+ different places when a threshold changed? Maybe you've struggled to build complex conditions with AND/OR logic directly in the approval settings?

We hear you! Previously, condition logic was tied directly to individual workflow components (Ex - approvals). This created headaches with:

  • Redundant condition creation across approvals
  • Time-consuming maintenance when policies changed
  • Limited visibility into where conditions were being used
  • Difficulty building and managing complex conditional logic

Solution Overview:

Introducing the Condition Library - your new central hub for creating, and managing conditions across your workflow automation!

With this powerful new feature, you can:

  • Create conditions once, use them everywhere! Define a condition like "High Value Deal" in one place and use it across multiple approvals.
  • Update in one place, changes everywhere! When your "High Value" threshold changes from $1M to $1.5M, update it once in the library and it automatically updates everywhere it's used.
  • Build more sophisticated logic with an improved condition builder supporting both basic UI and advanced formula modes.
  • Gain complete visibility into where each condition is being used with the new Usage tab.

The Condition Library is the groundwork for exciting upcoming features like conditional approval routing and conditional signatories!

Note: Currently conditions built using the condition library will only be supported in the New Approvals system. It's NOT supported for questionnaire, intake forms, or templates. We will be building support for these in the future.

 How to Enable: This feature will be gradually rolled out to all customers.
